HOW CLOSE IS TO CLOSE?

A person can only use DEADLY FORCE to protect their life or the life of a third party from a threat of imminent danger of DEATH or SERIOUS BODILY HARM!   The attacker must possess the three elements of ABILITY, OPPORTUNITY, & JEOPARDY in order for you to claim the right of SELF DEFENSE and JUSTIFY the use of DEADLY FORCE.

Looking at the above photo my question to you is, do the three elements exist, and would a response of DEADLY FORCE be considered to be a REASONABLE AND NECESSARY response?

Would you be able to articulate if that were you, based on what you see in the photo, that the attacker could either kill you or cause you serious bodily injury if you did not make an aggressive attempt, USE OF DEADLY FORCE, to stop his ACTIONS RIGHT NOW?

This is just some "FOOD FOR THOUGHT".  If you have any doubt that a person that is within 20 to 30 feet from you posessing any type of "deadly weapon" can seriously hurt you or possibly kill you then you need to examine the concept know as the Tueller Concept or "The Tueller Drill".

Besides the obvious gun or knife what else could be considered to be a DEADLY WEAPON?  These are things that you should know and be able to recognize in order to be better prepared to protect yourself.
