TRAINING

I found a few minutes to reflect on the the last two months. I think that I am a lucky guy, to have a wife that knows that after HER my PASSION in life is shooting and training. She never stands in my way when it comes to those two things. In fact she encourages me to find the time to do them. I was able to attend both the IALEFI Regional Training Conference held on October 26th & 27th. It was hosted by my former agency, New Jersey Division Fish & Wildlife, and held at our Training Facility in Jackson NJ. This was a two day workshop completely dedicated to Close-Quarter Combatives, both Firearms & Combat Folder Knife Techniques. Two weeks after that I was on my way to Ocean City, Md. to attend the IALEFI Master Instructor Training Conference hosted by the Ocean City, Md Police Dept. Both of these training events were outstanding and the classes were presented by some of the Highest Quality Law Enforcement Instructor's in the country. My hat goes off to Retired Captain Mike Boyle, (N.J.D.F.&W.) who was the lead instructor for both of these conferences.

Now, as this year quickly comes to an end it is time to start planning for next years Training.

Remember! That if involved in a critical life threatening encounter, "YOU WILL NOT RISE TO THE OCCASION, BUT REVERT BACK TO YOUR TRAINING"

"TRAIN HARD! FIGHT EASY!"
